A festival first this year, Comedia brings it’s acclaimed outdoor comedy programme to Synergy Live.

Last year Comedia put together the largest comedy gathering in Southern African history with over 50 comics being involved in their outdoor summer festivals.  2011 sees them aligning themselves with the finest outdoor festival the Cape has to offer.

Its the comics choice of festival to perform at.  Stand up comedy without the need for filler – no juggling barmen, no clowns, no hypnotists – just pure stand-up comedy, delivered by biggest and best in the largest lineup of acts seen this year.

Comedia is produced by Martin Evans, who has an in-depth knowledge of the industry and the performers.  Consistently packed audiences are testament to the quality of the shows produced.  With a variety of shows on offer – from The Best of the Fest with the biggest headline acts, through to the Comedia Improv and Afrikaans Comedy – Martin has sourced the top acts in the country, including Rob van Vuuren, Louw Venter, Melt Sieberhagen, Hannes Brummer, Paul Snodgrass and many more.
